En tiempos en los que somos perseguidos en cada sala de cine a la que ingresamos o DVD que alquilamos con ese tan ameno comercial en el que por poco se nos trata de ladrones: “No robarás” parece una broma de mal gusto que los estrenos demoren tanto.
Internacionalmente se proclama la idea de que una película descargada de Internet es por lo menos una entrada menos de cine o un alquiler menos en el videoclub. ¿Entonces cómo es que a mi que ya pagué mi entrada o alquilé la película me bombardean con ese mensaje?.
Más allá de sensibilidades y posturas personales sobre lo que se considera piratería me parece un despropósito que a la par de levantar la bandera de la “legalidad” los films se estrenen a veces con un año de atraso.
Salvo las películas más taquilleras que tienen un estreno mundial programado (Misión imposible III o El código Da Vinci por ejemplo) las demás cumplen un circuito de lo más extraño:

No estoy diciendo que estas demoras justifiquen la “piratería”. La piratería y la forma de distribución de films es arena de otro costal. Pero sin ir más lejos las cadenas de videoclubes que dentro de su stock se manejan con copias de DVDs Zona 1 estrenan las películas mucho antes que las cadenas de cine.
¿Se pueden pedir estrenos que realmente lo sean? ¿O es demasiado?
